Friday, August 2, the Dallas Pokey O's Will Offer $1 Ice Cream Sandwiches
DALLAS (July 31, 2019) – The Pokey O's Dallas flagship is excited to celebrate National Ice Cream Day on August 2 with $1 Pokey O's Ice Cream Sandwiches! The store hasn't hosted a "Dollar Day" in more than seven years, so this is MOMENTOUS!
The store, located next to Southern Methodist University in Dallas, was the first in the DFW area to offer custom ice cream sandwiches. Their cookies are baked fresh daily in-store and sandwich Texas's favorite ice cream, Blue Bell, between them. Guests have the chance to order a sandwich made from sixteen cookie options and sixteen ice cream options, so the combinations are endless!
Owner Len Oszustowicz says, "There's a 'national something day' almost every day, but we wanted to make this BIG. So we're going all-out and want to give everyone a real reason to celebrate. What we do every day is give people a quality product that makes them smile, so why not have fun with it?"
The store will be open regular hours, 11am to 10pm, with all products available in addition to their ice cream sandwiches. The regular price of sandwiches is $3.99.
